The Marathi community mourns the loss of Samir Bodas, a cherished friend, leader, and passionate advocate for Marathi culture. For decades, Samir dedicated his time and energy to strengthening our community, fostering connections, and preserving the rich traditions of our heritage.

Samir was a key member of the organizing committee for the BMM 2007 Convention in Seattle, where his leadership and commitment helped create a memorable and impactful event for Marathi families across North America. His warmth, generosity, and spirit of service left a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of working with him.

We are also deeply grateful to his wife and family for their generous charitable contribution in Samir's memory, a meaningful gesture that reflects the values of community, service, and giving that he embodied throughout his life.
